# Send & View Tags

What's a tag? [Read here](/ticketsdocs/tags/create-and-manage-tags.md#what-are-tags)

## View a tag

You can view a tag by running the `/tags view` command, you must specify which tag you are viewing, after doing so we'll show you in a hidden message (ephemeral message) of your tag, we'll also put it in codeblock if you want copy & paste it yourself.

## Send a tag

You can send a tag using the `/tags send` command, this will send the tag content in the channel as you sent it, however if you're tag content exceeds 1500 characters it will be sent in a CV2 Message to look exactly like a plain message as Plain messages have a maximum content of 2000 characters.\
\
If your message must be a plain message we recommended cutting down on characters.

## List Tags

You can list all of your tags with the `/tags list` command, this will list every tag you have\
The list includes names, not content if you want to preview the content use the view tags command.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://invomagic.gitbook.io/ticketsdocs/tags/send-and-view-tags.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
