# Self Destruct

Self destruct is what most bots refer as "Temporary Channels" while ours arent as advanced as some bots that are focused on the feature, its a nice, function system that you can use to create channels that will be deleted at set amount of time

## How to use

Run the `/self-destruct` command and fill out the following options

**Name:** The name you want the channel to be\
**Type:** This is the type of channel, either a Text channel or VC\
**Time:** The time before the channel deletes itself\
**Category:** The category ID of where we should create the channel\
**Access Role:** This is the role that will be granted view permissions and send message permissions\
\
After sending the bot will create a channel

After the time ends, there will be a warning sent, and 20 seconds after that the channel will be deleted

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://invomagic.gitbook.io/ticketsdocs/tools/self-destruct.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
